Alex founded Western Symbolics in February 2024 to create a sustainable development research platform for the Transformations Community. His tech journey began at 14, freelancing for startups in Florida, and has since evolved into a career marked by leadership in AI and strategic innovation. At Dabble Lab, Alex reshaped company culture and led the Archr project to success, creating a visionary hiring strategy that became the backbone of the Dabble Lab Talent Accelerator. Balancing his studies in economics at CU Boulder, Alex continues to guide Western Symbolics with a focus on practical solutions that enhance quality of life and streamline systems. He lives in Boulder, Colorado.

Chris Moor

Head of Growth

Chris joined Western Symbolics in August 2024 to spearhead growth initiatives, leveraging over two decades of experience as a senior executive and business transformation catalyst. Throughout his career, Chris has excelled in driving growth through customer-centered strategies, leading global SaaS transformations, and guiding businesses to double-digit expansion. His expertise spans global sales and support, operations, customer success, and business transformation, with a strong focus on delivering customer value. Chris has also served in key leadership roles across multiple organizations, managed product development teams, and played a pivotal role in M&A activities. His entrepreneurial spirit is reflected in his ventures, including founding a supply chain company and co-founding an AI-driven memoir creation business. Originally from England, he lives with his wife and two kids in Boulder, Colorado.

Farid Matovu

Software Engineer

Farid joined Western Symbolics in August 2024 as the company’s first software engineer. With a solid background in engineering and a passion for software development, Farid brings critical thinking and analysis skills to every project. He graduated from Kyambogo University with a degree in Civil Engineering and later completed a Computer Science program at Microverse. Farid has a proven track record of increasing user engagement and product performance by up to 50%, and his dedication to his craft is reflected in his ranking among the top 1% of active GitHub users in his country. He lives in Kampala, Uganda.
